Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Argument mobile app and API (the “Service”), operated by S O R S General Trading LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (783315), Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1, 10C street , Warehouse 4 (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. We collect crash/error diagnostics and (with your consent where required) product-analytics data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Effective date: 17 July 2026.

1. Eligibility & acceptance

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract (or have a parent/guardian accept on your behalf where required). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. What Argument is — and is not

Argument is an AI-assisted tool for entertainment, reflection and discussion. AI-generated analyses, “winners”, scores and guidance are automated, probabilistic, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or biased. They are not professional advice of any kind — legal, psychological, medical, relationship, financial or otherwise — and are not a substitute for a qualified professional. You rely on AI output at your own discretion and are solely responsible for any decisions you make.

If you are in distress or facing a serious dispute, please seek help from a qualified professional or local support service. Argument is not an emergency or crisis service.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
Accounts are personal and for one individual.
We use anti-fraud measures (including device fingerprinting and duplicate-account detection) to protect trials and subscriptions. Circumventing them, or creating accounts to abuse free tiers, is prohibited and may result in suspension.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit content or behave in ways that are unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually exploitative, violent, that promotes self-harm, or that infringes others’ rights. Do not submit other people’s personal or confidential information without authorization. Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service, or use it to build a competing product. Abusive content can be reported in-app and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to our AI sub-processor to generate your result. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate these Terms. Content shared in a multi-party argument is visible to the other participants.

6. AI output

AI output is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, fitness or non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular result and are not liable for actions you take based on AI output.

7. Subscriptions, passes & payments

Paid plans and one-time session passes are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel renewal in your Apple/Google account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period.
Session passes are one-time consumables.
Free trial: new accounts may be offered a one-time 7-day Pro trial activated in-app. No payment method is required, nothing is charged, and the account reverts automatically to the Free plan when the trial ends. One trial per person and device; our anti-fraud checks may decline it.
Fair use: the Free tier includes daily usage caps (for example, a limited number of analyses per day). Current limits are shown in-app and may change over time.
Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies; we do not separately process card refunds.
Plan features and limits (free, Plus, Pro) may change; we will not reduce paid features you have already been billed for in a given period without a reasonable alternative.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, the “Argument” brand, and all related software and content (excluding your own content) are owned by S O R S General Trading LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law or protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your mandatory consumer rights.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold S O R S General Trading LLC harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or competent forum available to you in your country of residence.

14. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We may update these Terms; material changes are indicated by the “Last updated” date and continued use constitutes acceptance.
